Sotheby's auction came to an end last night,
the price of Yu Youhan's paintings hit a record high.



Yu was born in Shanghai in 1943,
one of the most representative artists in the field of “Political Pop” art in the 1990s. 
In the last decade of China's "The 1985 New Wave Art" and the "Political Pop” 
and other artistic evolutions, he played a vanguard role in the history of contemporary Chinese art.
In addition to that, he is one of the most important contemporary abstract painting artists in China.

His series “Circles”  represents  his personal opinion on culture &  history of China.
